OUR SHOP
Our shop is truly unique. We started in a very small space where no more than five people could fit inside, but thanks to the quality of our coffee and the transparency of our process, we quickly stood out in the local community.
Today, we are located in a prime spot on the main street of Bury St Edmunds, bringing a completely new specialty coffee concept to the town. What sets us apart is the experience we offer: a place where you can relax, explore new flavours and enjoy coffee in a way you’ve never experienced before.
THE EXPERIENCE
We invite customers to taste everything—from bold, dark coffees to bright, explosive profiles—while being part of a vibrant community space. Coffee is our priority, but so is creating an atmosphere where people feel inspired, welcomed and connected.
Our shop is one of the few true specialty coffee shops in the area, and we pride ourselves on offering total transparency. You can watch us roast the coffee, see the entire process, and even have your coffee bagged fresh on the spot. We also provide curated coffee gifts and unique products for coffee lovers.
FUTURE PLANS
We regularly collaborate with musicians, writers and artists, hosting events and exhibitions to support local talent.
And we’re already working on future plans: expanding our downstairs area to offer more seating and creating a dedicated meeting zone where entrepreneurs and remote workers can gather without the need to rent external spaces.
Our shop is more than a café — it’s an experience, a community hub and the home of Alema Coffee in the UK.

Fabian's passion for coffee is truly infectious! When I first met him, it was immediately clear how deeply he cares about his family's farm and the craft of coffee production.
