DESCRIPTION
Catimor is a hybrid variety created from a cross between Caturra and Timor Hybrid. It was developed to combine strong productivity and compact plant structure with high resistance to leaf rust and other diseases. Catimor is a vigorous, fast-growing plant with excellent yield efficiency, making it widely adopted in many coffee-producing regions.
In the cup, Catimor can offer profiles ranging from sweet and balanced to more herbal or spicy, depending on agronomic management, altitude, and processing. With good farming practices and careful processing, it can present clean notes, pleasant sweetness, and moderate acidity.
