Finca La Marquesa sits in the famed Vilcabamba Valley of southern Ecuador, a place renowned for its mild climate, pure water, and slow-paced lifestyle that many believe contribute to the remarkable longevity of its residents. Perched at 1,700 meters on the equator, the farm benefits from extended sunlight that enhances the natural sweetness and complexity of its coffee, making it an ideal environment for producing exceptional beans.

At the center of this farm is producer Ximena León, who, alongside her son Hubert and with the enduring dedication of her 90-year-old grandmother Albertina, has transformed La Marquesa into a hub of innovation and heritage. Their meticulous work has led to Sidra Sunset, an experimental coffee that showcases fruity and floral notes born from months of careful cultivation and processing. Each bean reflects the valley’s spirit - patience, tradition, and deep love for the land - delivering a cup rich with family history and Ecuadorian excellence.
